Meet Our Pastor
Senior Pastor Anson D. Wallace
Bro. Anson Wallace has been the minister at Eastside Church of Christ, located in Lee’s Summit, Missouri since April 2010. Prior to his ministry at Eastside, he served as co-youth director at Swope Parkway Church of Christ, located in Kansas City, MO for over 8 years.
Bro. Wallace was baptized into the Kingdom at the Roswell Church of Christ at the age of 12 (1973). He has been married to his wife Tracy for 27 years. Together they have two boys, Zavien, and Brycen. He also has two daughters Camille and Tamicia and one stepdaughter, Jerzy.
Bro. Wallace was employed at UPS for 39 years as an operation manager retiring on February 02, 2018.
Bro. Wallace has a great passion for serving the Lord and preaching the Gospel. His number one purpose in life is to make heaven his home and to teach others the way to salvation.
I have realized my purpose is to be a laborer for the Lord all the days of my life. I believe there is nothing more important on this side of eternity than helping lead others to Christ so that no one will perish.
Until the Lord receives my spirit, I will preach the word with love, humility, boldness, and with the joy of knowing I freely chose to be used for God’s purpose.
